Our Story
The After School Enrichment Program, also known as ASEP's is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. This year mark's ASEP's 20th year as an organization. ASEP was founded in 1999 by Libby Albert, a former parent from McKinley Elementary School. ASEP has always provided a safe, healthy and nurturing environment for children as their parents go to work, school or seek employment. Comprehensive ASEP at McKinley is our all-in-one program were students are picked up, fed a healthy snack and taken care of, starting right after school until pick up at 6:00 pm.
WE KEEP GROWING
In January 2012, ASEP was invited to expand to Daniel Webster Elementary School! Now in its 7th year, the ASEP Daniel Webster Program is thriving and still growing. ASEP prides itself with the knowledge we have gained over the last 20 years. We have applied our learning, in addition to parent feedback, and now offer many more program options including Specialty Clubs and Language Programs.

Mix Funding Model |
We serve approximately 450 San Francisco youth in grades kindergarten through 5th grade during after school hours and spring and summer break. Due to generous support from the San Francisco Unified School District and the City and County of San Francisco (Department of Children, Youth and Their Families) we are able to offer many scholarship slots in our Comprehensive Program and limited scholarships in our specialty programs at no charge to families. Otherwise, based on income eligibility, ASEP charges tuition for all of our programs. This allows us to sustain one unified and high quality program at each of our school sites, for all children, regardless of the ethnic or economic backgrounds.
