Comprehensive ASEPComprehensive ASEP is our all-in-one after school program where students are picked up, fed a healthy snack and are taken care of, starting at 1:45 pm at McKinley and 2:40pm at Daniel Webster until pick up at 6:00 pm. During Comprehensive ASEP students engage in a variety of activities including Theme Based Learning, Homework Assistance, Arts Enrichment and PlaySEP. Comprehensive ASEP is open to students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.

ASEP Language ProgramThe ASEP Language Program is a student-centered, 90-10 language and multicultural convergence model that serves K-5 Spanish and Mandarin learners. The ASEP Language Program commingles a blend of academic rigorousness and a play-based learning approach. The ASEP Language Program’s curriculum is aligned with California’s K-12 Public School’s World Language Content Standards and with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages National Standards (ACTFL).

Lunch Time Wellness ProgramsThe Lunch Time Wellness Program (LTWP) is a joint venture between the ASEP and Day School Administrations.
The program was brought to McKinley in 2009 to provide structure during the lunch-play period and to make the playground a safe and all-inclusive environment. Starting in August of 2017 LTWP will expand to DW. |
Specialized ClubsMonday through Friday, ASEP offers additional “Specialized Clubs” including art, science, soccer, chess and Lego. Learn more about club programs below!
