ASEP Registration

To access site-specific application and registration links, select McKinley (MK) or Daniel Webster (DW) from the Registration drop-down menu.

ASEP’s school-year registration opens in April and requires families to submit an annual application for each student, including returning students. The school-year application applies to the entire academic year and allows families to indicate which programs they would like their child to be considered for (Comprehensive ASEP, Language Programs, and/or Specialty Clubs).
When the application goes live in April, families are given a two-week window to submit their application in order to be included in the first batch of applications. Families who apply after this window may have difficulty securing a spot due to limited availability. Submitting an application does not guarantee placement; families must receive an official acceptance letter for each student in order for their child to attend ASEP on the first day of school.
Specialty Club registration opens once again in the fall for the upcoming spring semester. Clubs are semester-based, and students are encouraged to reapply each semester to allow equitable access to limited spots.
As part of the school-year application, families will:
  • Have the opportunity to complete a scholarship form (if applicable)
  • Review and sign required ASEP and SFUSD forms, including Priority Enrollment, Progressive Response to Challenging Behavior, ADA and FERPA acknowledgements, student data and media consent forms, release of information, and opt-out forms related to ELO-P priority students.
All required forms must be reviewed and signed for a student to be enrolled in ASEP programming.
