Ramiro Lule - Executive Director

Ramiro Lule joins the ASEP team as our Executive Director. Ramiro has 11 years of experience in youth development and out of school programs. Ramiro has a deep passion for youth development and outreach that stems from his own experience as a youth benefiting from similar programs here in San Francisco. ​

Ferkhunda Murad - Program Director

With over 13 years of ASEP experience that began with being a Group Aide to her current role of ASEP Program Director, Ferkhunda Murad is proud to be a part of ASEP's growth. As Program Director, her organizational goal is to provide both MK and DW communities with exceptional after school services, while uplighting and supporting Youth Development Leaders as they nurture the Leaders of tomorrow. Ferkhunda has a BA in Psychology with a minor in Special Education. 

Odile Ciofalo - Finance Operations Director

​Odile Ciofalo, Finance Operations Director at ASEP.  A native of tropical Mauritius Island, found in the Indian Ocean, and longtime San Francisco resident, has lent her skills to managing and improving small businesses in San Francisco for the last 17 years.  A lover of details and getting things right, she prides herself on excellence in customer service and excels at pinpointing what isn't working and creating new systems for increased efficiency and a happier work environment.  A lover of all things funny, she brings her sense of humor and congeniality to every endeavor, creating a team environment and camaraderie wherever she goes. In her free time, Odile loves cooking, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

Williemae Mamsaang - Human Resources Director 

With six years of experience in the HR field, Williemae has steadily advanced in her career. Her passion for HR is driven by her commitment to supporting employees, fostering a positive company culture, and continuously learning new skills. She finds great satisfaction in witnessing the impact of successful leaders on students' lives. Believing in the power of small gestures of appreciation, she strives to create a supportive and motivating environment. In her free time, Williemae enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with her loved ones.

Mike Tortorelli -Health & Wellness Programs Coordinator

​Mike Tortorelli has been leading children and adults in physical and nutrition activities for the last 15 years. As a self-styled Play Facilitator, Mike’s core philosophy is to the “See the Star in Every Child". Mike draws upon his experience with organizations such as Joy of Sports, Shapedown, California Pacific Medical Center and San Francisco General Hospital. Mike has enjoyed being ASEP’s Health and Wellness Coordinator since 2009.

Nancy Sanchez - McK Site Coordinator

​Nancy has been an integral part of the ASEP/McKinley Community for over 15 years, serving in a myriad of roles, with varying responsibilities. She has her AS in Child Development and continuing with a BA in Social Work. Nancy’s passion and dedication have truly helped shape the heart of our programming.  Nancy is very excited to serve as the ASEP/McKinley Site Coordinator this year, where she can better influence the day to day well-being of all students.  

Titian Rovera  - McK Assistant Coordinator

​Mr. Titian has been with ASEP since 2018 and is now serving as our Lunch Time Manager and Assistant Site Coordinator for McKinley, while also currently leading the Harvey Milk Staff and students.  Known for his big voice and bad dance moves, (and of course his strong work ethic and efficiency) you will often see Mr. Titian playing on the lower yard or helping with pick up at the front door.

John Sobol - Harvey Milk Site Coordinator 
Johnny has been with ASEP since the spring of 2023 working at the HM site with Mckinley’s 4th and 5th graders. When he’s not running big capture the flag games in Duboce Park or making apple volcanoes with his groups, you might hear him playing piano in the Botanical Gardens or getting ready to camp in point Reyes.

Alejandra Guerrero - DW Site Assistant Coordinator 

Hi my name is Alejandra, this is my 3rd school year working with ASEP. I am studying Interior Architecture & Design at the Academy of Art. I am from McAllen, Texas. I love drawing, painting and spending  time with my family and friends. I enjoy going out to eat and traveling. I consider myself a positive, funny, and kind human being. I enjoy working with kids because they bring out the best in me.

​Mariana Flores Quinones - DW Site Assistant Coordinator 

Mariana was born and raised in San Francisco. She's been working for ASEP since 2021 while continuing her education at CCSF. She enjoys being with family, friends, and taking her dog Coco on walks at McLaren Park. When she's not DJing at Daniel Webster Elementary School during recess, she finds gratification in helping students, parents/ guardians and staff.

Sian Laing - Administrative Assistant

​Sian was born and raised in San Francisco and is proud to give back to the city that shaped her. As ASEP’s Newsletter Curator, she highlights the incredible work happening across ASEP programs each month. With a long history of working with youth-centered organizations, Sian is passionate about local outreach and supporting youth in San Francisco. In her free time, she enjoys exploring different coffee shops around the city with her friends and family
